Vancouver Oath Timeline after Test/Interview

Yes, I did provide an email while filed the citizenship application. However, I have never received anything through email from them though.

The oath invitation is the only thing that you have received through email?


Timeline:
1. Received Application and sent out Discover Canada Booklet => Oct. 28, 2013
2. Started processing application => January 28, 2014
3. Sent out notice to appear and write the citizenship test on April 20, 2015=> March 24, 2015
4. Citizenship Test and Interview=> April 20, 2015
5. Oath => Still Waiting for Invite

Like I said earlier, it's upto them what to send or not send on e-mail. They use regular mail too.
CIC has been upgrading their application processing systems, so that they can make everything paperless. This is a gradual process, eventually all communication sent to applicants will be on e-mail.
I received my application of receipt (AOR) also via e-mail. However the test invite was regular mail.

The thing is that it does not matter how the communication arrives, as long as you get it!

just received our oath invite today, July 15 via mail for Aug 15 oath taking ceremony
We saw our decision made status last july 12.
However, our letter was dated July 11

Just want to let you know guys that we have a friend who took the test the same date with us Apr 8, but he took it in the afternoon, we took ours in the morning.
He received his oath invite via email for July 28th yesterday.

Just want to let you know guys that we have a friend who took the test the same date with us Apr 8, but he took it in the afternoon, we took ours in the morning.
He received his oath invite via email for July 28th yesterday.

Thank you checking emails everyday, lots of sales emails, nothing from cic yet.
