CIC permanently closed down Nanaimo and Victoria offices. There is none on the Island

Do you have any official sources for this information? As of November-December 2015 they had an itinerant office in Nanaimo, BC. And if you read my message, this is what I wrote:

I'd guess Victoria or Nanaimo, both of which are itinerant offices, depending where you are located in the island.

Nanaimo office has been closed for almost three years now. I went by today to double check. Here is a little online info I found.

Great, now you are weeks away from the D day - Oath Ceremony

CIC offices in the Western Canada doing a great job. While Eastern offices they still did'nt wake up their from Conservative government spell.... ;D ;D

I got Oath Latter dated 16 jan to appear on oath for Feb 1 2016 , my wait is over still my online status show decision made thank you everyone , & i wish all best of luck

My oath is in the morning at 8 am. I can't believe the day is finally here.

PR card
Original Confirmation of PR
US passport

Am I missing anything?

well 2 piece of ID, & original doc used for citizenship application ... congrats

finally, the wait is over yay.. received letter for oath invite today, dated on January 16 and oath on February 5 @10am .... finally wohoooo

my timeline:
sent - june 08
received - june 10
AoR - Aug 15
In process - Aug 31
Test - Sept 23
DM - when I checked somewher 2nd week of Oct
Oath - February 5

Finally, I get oath letter today and my ceremony is on Feb 5th.

Seems Vancouver is moving up now i also got letter yesterday dated on 16 Jan for 1 Jan oath ,,, thank you everyone and wish all who are still waiting for oath

hi guys, anybody in here applied for passport the same day after the oath? just wanna knownif its possible to apply the same day

^ if you need it rush best to bring the certificate and your guarantor with you at the passport office
if not rush wait for at least 2 days for them to update the system

Actually, I took my test in Nanaimo in December 2015 so yes, they do still do itinerant services there. The officer at the test told me my oath would be in Nanaimo but they only go there quarterly. I see they were there for oath ceremonies a week ago but I missed the cut so I'm assuming I'll be getting my oath notice for Nanaimo in June or July.
