Hello... Decesion made on my case April 19th but still waiting for oath invitation, anyone in same situtation?

It looks like BC is on break or vacation, no news of test or oath. However my wife spoke to an agent last week she told her that the reason we have not been invited is due to our location but assured her that before mid-July we would have gotten out Citizenship because they will bring an internerat service center close to us soon, and also that we should get a notification in about 3 weeks time. It's possible that we will do test and oath same day.

This is the info I got for itinerant offices:

Victoria, BC: Fall 2018
 Nanaimo, BC: Fall 2018
 Kelowna, BC: Summer/Fall 2018
 Prince George, BC: Fall 2018
 Whitehorse, YK: Summer/Fall 2018

Being from Vancouver island, I was given an alternative to come mid June to Vancouver for both test/oath, (rather than waiting til Fall)

There are two dates per month in Vancouver/Surrey (1 each) where they invite people from rural BC.

Given that you are closer to Kelowna, I presume they will invite you there since they have a summer date there. They probably offer Vancouver dates to Vancouver island and Prince George areas.

Yeah I guess it's Kelowna then (4 hrs drive) better than 7 hrs drive to Vancouver.

I did the test here in Victoria on Monday May 14 and passed (20/20). My ecas still says in process but the oath ceremeony is scheduled for May 24. During the interview the officer said that my file would go through final review and they will contact me if there are any issues before the scheduled oath date.

Updated in Nov applicants, but I received my test invite on Monday from Surrey IRCC with a test date of June 20 and also received my GCMS notes a few days early on Tuesday. Hoping to be doing oath by end of August?

Hey guys!

Not a November applicant, but a July one. I started my application in Toronto, but moved to Vancouver in July of last year. Took my test and did my interview last week (in Vancouver) and got DM literally the next day. Just trying to figure out a timeline for Oath... Looks like it's about a month wait to get a notification for a oath the following month? So should I be expecting an Oath in July-ish?

Yeah, for some reason, vancouver has been slow lately. Got DM on 4th May. But no oath invite yet. Applicants from other test centers who got DMs after 4th may have been getting oath invites already.

Just got some new information: I had ordered my GCMS notes last month and just got them this morning. When going thru them carefully, I saw a note that states: "Files are reviewed every two weeks. Once it has, it will be given to Officer to review and grant and then it proceeds to a ceremony."

Quite interesting. That means, since I got "Decision Made" of May 4th (Friday), they won't be reviewing my file again until 18th May (Friday). So, in the mean time, even if there is any update, I won't be contacted for oath until my two weeks review window is due on May 18th. And if I don't hear anything on May 18th, then it would be another two weeks.

Wondering if this is applicable to all Vancouver applicants, and by extension, all applicants within Canada. Please review your timeline and let me know if you notice any similar patterns.

Cheers!

VERY interesting. And it does make sense, especially if you look at timelines in the sheet. Thanks for sharing! Let us know what happens!

It usually takes about 4-5 weeks for the oath letter to go out in Van(after DM) and another 4 for the actual oath,so yea, July makes sense.
