ECAS and emails are out of sync at times. Our was for the exam appointment letter. Emails arrived days before ECAS update. Looks like different teams are handling each task (but perhaps in the same organization?).
The invitation date on my email pdf actually reads March 5 other than Feb 28 as it states on ecas status

Hi Members,
Do I need to carry all the documents once again on oath ceremony day that I did on citizenship test day??
Do they check documents on oath ceremony day??
How long does the whole process of oath ceremony takes?
Please respond.
Thanks in advance

Re: documents: I answered you in https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...hip-applications.515291/page-125#post-6770787

The complete citizenship ceremony tends to take about 1.5 to 2 hours, usually, but if your ceremony has a special guest or so it may take a bit longer.

Passed the exam this morning, yay! I was told it will take 3-5 months for an Oath Ceremony. :/ I guess there are a lot of people!
I think they just give a pretty wide range so they don't get pestered by people. Most other locations have been 4-6 weeks after the exam. Most of their estimates have been to err on the side of caution by a lot.

Not to say it won't take that long, but hopefully Vancouver stays in line with other locations.

I passed my test this morning too. Now just waiting for the oath letter.

Status update on ECas.

  1. We sent you a letter on March 6, 2018. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Anyone know what this could be. Fingerprint already done. I was expecting test invite.

I passed the test yesterday too (19/20).
And now waiting for DM, checking the website every hour since 8 am LOL

For the interview, the woman only checked my ID (same as application, not the stamps on my passport), and asked me if i had trouble with police since my application...and told me between 2 to 5 month for oath....

My test was at 9.02 and at 10.03 i was out of the building LOL

We had pretty much the exact same experience but I was out of the building by 9:52! I made it to work not too late!

I just checked and I have Decision Made.

I actually got tears in my eyes. Guess this is more emotionally meaningful than I realised.

Updated

I'm also going to be at the oath on April 10. :D

My ECAS is STILL not showing my test invite details - so weird. I wonder if it will go straight from its current status of "In Process" to "Decision Made", missing all the other stuff in between!
