valid visa stamping to my new passport

hello guys

myself sam.

iam an international student who came in 2016. last year i lost my indian passort which had the student visa stamped on it., however i applied and recieved a new passsport from the indian embassey . i wanted the visa to be stamped into my newpassport . i did filled up "replacement of a lost document" application and sent it to ottwawa with my newpassport. the ususal processing time is 30 days but within 9 days they sent my passport back to me saying it is not needed. wonderinghow they gonna stamp my visa then

i have to go to india by june and come back after 2 weeks, they wont allow me to enter without the visa stamped in my passport ,period.

please help as am in a confused state

I'm not sure but I think that maybe they'll use your passport number and see online that you have a valid study visa . Moreover you can try to email them or the embassy in India and ask them about that .
