Hi:
My GF from Russia got a single entry visitor visa to Canada for 6 months. It will be expiring in a little over a month. We would like to extend her stay here in Canada for another 6 months so it will give us more time together to get the marriage process started. My question is, is it a valid reason to simply say that she wants to extend her visitor visa so she can stay with her boyfriend longer? My guess is that this won't work. So without already being married, what are some valid reasons for a visitor who is not able to work or study here, to stay here longer?
Thanks.
