I am currently working under noc 2112 in Canada since september 2021. In September 2021, i had positive lmia and my current work permit, and job offer obviously to start my current job on a closed work permit. my questions:

1. Can I claim and get points for Valid job offer in Canada?
2. If yes, Is there anything I should ask my employer to do for me so that I can claim this? or can I still use the same job offer I got last year September? does my employer need to get a new positive Lmia?

I wanted to clarify this because I didn't claim that I have valid job offer when I applied express entry under CEC.

TIA.

-I have a total 1 year of work experience in Canada. ( 10 months in my previous company, and 11 months in current company)
- I can ask HR for a new job offer and I think they can give me that.
-My concern is that do I need a new LMIA to get a new job offer from my current employer??

worked 10 months in a company in Canada( NOC 2112) and then I have been working with my current company for the last 11 months ( Noc 2112) in Canada again.

Please advise.

-If my employer must obtain a new LMIA for me to claim +50 score for valid job offer?
- Or All I need is to obtain a new job offer from my current company I have been working for in the last 11 months?

Closed work permit
Sorry bit confusing so your situation is that you worked in a company for 10 months via LMIA proces and then you shifted to a new company and you are looking to claim points for that intial LMIA, isn t it?

10 months worked in noc2112( sept 2020 -May 2021) : old LMIA , old work permit

now working in noc2112 for another company ( since September 2021) for 11 months so far: with latest (another ) LMIA ( expired in April 2022), with another valid work permit.

I am looking to claim +50 points for my latest LMIA.

So all I have to get is " only new job offer from my current employer" , is it correct??

OR does my current employer have to get BOTH a new LMIA and new job offer for me?

There should be a mention of validity period on the last page of your LMIA. You can claim points if the current LMIA has same company address as you are currently working at.

Yes the latest LMIA has the same company address. But the latest LMIA expired April 2022.

so, does my employer have to get both a new LMIA and new job offer?

OR since I am working at the same company that was issued based on LMIA ( lmia expired april 2022) , Do I need ONLY a new job offer from my employer ?

If you want to claim points then yes LMIA have to be applied again by your employer.
If not claim points job offer
