Dang I don't know what to do, I'm not sure of those 2 Reps from CiC understood my question as they told me it shouldn't be a problem. Is there like a written rule from CIC that really says and outland application as PR would not allow you to travel outside a canada for more than a month or something like that?
My suggestion is this. Do what you have to do. Take 6 weeks vacation and cross your fingers that there won't be a problem coming back which regards to your PR sponsorship. Most likely it won't be an issue. However with your PR sponsorship in process, CBSA may see that on file when they process you back into Canada on entry. They may see that you have been gone 6 weeks in middle of PR sponsorship. This is where it may be an issue. The agent may give you a hard time over it or not. Remember CSBA are a separate group from CIC. CIC may tell you it's okay. But will CBSA say it's okay for you to leave in middle of PR sponsorship. That I cannot tell you. They won't deny you re-entry but may raise an issue to CIC over it.

How does the CIC expect us to show evidence of a continuing relationship if they can't even allow us to go on vacation to be with our significant others..... this is exactly why there needs to b a serious overhaul at the CIC!

I highly doubt CIC and CBSA do any sort of information sharing to begin with.... govt organizations in Canada are not that organized.... lol

You can still continue to show evidence of continued relationship by visiting a couple of weeks, here and there. The issue at hand is leaving for 6 weeks straight as a PR sponsor. The rule does state that PR must remain in Canada during the entire PR sponsorship. Leaving Canada for vacation 2-3 weeks at a time is not a concern. But leaving for 6 weeks straight, does fall under unusual "vacation" length of time, which may raise a possible flag at the border when returned regarding PR sponsorship rules.

No, there is no written rule like that. The written rule is that a PR must be living in Canada to sponsor a spouse. The longer the vacation, the easier it is for CIC to decide that you are no longer living in Canada and therefore don't qualify as a sponsor. That's why we usually advise around 3 weeks, as that's a fairly standard vacation length here in Canada. Anything more than that can be considered "non standard" and that's when CIC may start to have an issue.
