Hi all,

I got two separate emails today for PPR. One for myself and one for my spouse, I live in USA and my wife lives in Pakistan. I am confused now bceause the letter for me is general and doenst specify if I need to send my Spouse Passport to New York office as well (see below). The other letter from Islamabad (Pakistan) clearly specify only one passport is required.

New York

Islamabad

My question is what should I do now? should I just send mine to New York and her to ISB. The New York letter mentions a fee but doesn't specify what is the total and how to pay it.

Also if anyone has any idea about the time it will take for NYC office to send me back the passport after stamping please share.

Hello all,

I am asked to send my Passport for COPR and stamping to New York VAC. I am confused when it comes to shipping. In one instance the website mentions that I can only send passport using two way courier service offered by VAC but it is also mentioned that I can also use my own labels outside of FedEx Can anyone please help in this regards? I have been told to submit evrerything by 10 of Oct. I am also including the exact wording from their website

"Two-way courier service: Due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, the Visa Application Centre is only accepting applications for biometrics exempt applicants via the courier service offered by the VAC"

  1. *NOTE: The Visa Application Centres in New York and Los Angeles no longer accept pre-paid shipping labels from FedEx (unless generated by the VAC through One or Two Way Courier Service). You are free to provide a shipping label envelope from any other courier company of your choice or purchase it from the Canada visa application Center
Not sure what to do?

I am thinking of using my own labels since time sensitivity is of essence but want to make sure that it is accepted

I had called today about this same thing and they say you're to use your own return label and pay for the airway bill (ask your courier you'll be using they will know) such as DHL because we are not in USA so they will not send shipping label for the two-ways. But If you're in USA you can just email them (the email they have) and they will give you instructions.
