I am a PGWP holder. I got PPR today. My details are:

CEC, Inland, NOC 2132, non-LMIA
ITA = 27 March
Applied, First AOR = 29 April
Medical Passed = 13 May
Celpip request, sent = 15 June
BG in progress = 15 June
Schedule A request, sent = 16 June
PPR = 24 July (MyCIC still says BG in progress, final decision not started)

My ecas still says 'Application received'. It has 3 lines from the beginning till now.

Now I have a few points to share, based on my application.

1. I applied through CEC. I had claimed only 2000CAD for my POF. Although I don't have a LMIA-approved job (I currently have a PT skilled (NOC2132) contract job), my application didn't face any trouble regarding POF. I did prove the 2000CAD I had claimed through bank letter and statements.

2. Regarding my 1 year qualifying job. It was a FT, skilled (NOC2132) job for exactly 1 year. I started working after graduating, using my OCWP for two months as a FT work permit (till I got my PGWP). Before I started working I had applied for my PGWP though. Now, my PGWP was issued after two months of already working at this job. Still, for the qualifying 1 year, my previous two months of OCWP work was counted.

3. My salary for this qualifying job was way less than the median salary for my job type. That didn't create any trouble too.

4. Right after applying for EE, I was laid off. I was unemployed for a bit and then got my current contract job. CIC didn't ask me anything about my unemployment period etc.

I hope these might help. If you have any more doubts feel free to ask me.

Thank you april2014_AINP, especially the news about experience gained under OCWP does count! I was in the same situation. :)

Very useful information april2014_AINP. Btw, if you don't mind, could you share a few more details like how many CRS points do you have? Did you go through AINP? and what is your highest education?
I am also a PGWP holder with 1 year working experience so far.

No I didn't go through AINP; since, AINP nomination does not give you 600 points. I had 468 points and a Master's degree.
