My wife got ppr yesterday (applied end Apr 2016) to send passport to New Delhi, but she is currently residing in Abu Dhabi, Can we submit it to VFS in Abu Dhabi, VFS said it shouldn't be an issue. Does anyone have an idea? Any input is highly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, I also noticed that ECAS changed to In process from In progress. What does that mean?

That is sad, I am sorry. Do you know if an invitation letter is mandatory from me for my wife's visitor visa application? She is submitting employment letter from her employer that she will be returning in a couple of weeks after vacation.

Unfortunately, there is no proof of property/rental that she has in Abu Dhabi. :(

Thanks a lot :) I am relieved it worked out, Not by much, I think it was less than 500 CAD. But I did submit my T4, NOA, most of my pay stubs and current employment letter along in the proof of funds in a single document. Note that, I did not maintain the balance during the application...
