Hello all,

I'm a PR in Canada, I recently got married and my wife wokrs in Abu Dhabi. We haven't submitted our sponsorship application for her yet.

I planning to apply for her visitor visa because she got couple of weeks off from work. We are including all her pay stubs and employment letter saying that she will rejoin work at the end of this period. We are also showing enough funds and return tickets to go back. I am also going to give her invitation letter, all my pay stubs and bank statements.

What are the chances of approval? Is showing employment letter from her work place and stating that she will rejoin work a good proof for solid ties for her to go back? Would any other documents help improve approval rate?

Please advise, Thanks a lot.

It's hard to say what the chances of approval are. It's possible CIC may refuse her visa based on a concern she is planning on remaining in Canada long term.

Having said that - the fact she has a job there and it keeping the trip short is a good thing. Can you show any property ownership or rental that is either in her name or both of your names?

It really depends on the processing VO. We submitted ALL the requirements, bank account, multiple properties, businesses, employment letter for my wife's sister . . . the whole thing. She even has a family of four children she must return to. BUT processing VO was MANILA . . . NO GO! We will never waste our money again.

You really need input from others' experience with the same processing VO as you.

Good luck!

That is sad, I am sorry. Do you know if an invitation letter is mandatory from me for my wife's visitor visa application? She is submitting employment letter from her employer that she will be returning in a couple of weeks after vacation.
