Hi everyone! Just looking for some advice. If anyone has been in this situation before.
I am a Canadian and America citizen. My husband is in the United States illegal. We live together with our son of 1 years old. In January 2010 I filed for my husbands permanent residence in Canada. The paper work had to be processed in Port of Spain because of his status in the USA. We have recieved a interview date for him in Port of Spain. The question is .....
1. Scared to fly to Port of Spain with spouse and husband wouldn't be able to return to Canada or the USA.
2. If we go to the interview is our chances of get thru pretty favorable.
3. How long do you think after the interview would the visa be processed?
4. Are there trick questions to the interview?
5. Should we bring all of our copoied documentation with us?
6. Is there anything else we should bring, like any other documentation.
7. After the interview process...how do you know you got approved for your visa? Will the officer tell you?
8. Would they also tell you if you are denied after the interview?
9. If were denied what is the next step that we should take?
See...With the package we processed for Canadian status for my husband we had to do everything the medical, police clearance, etc...
