USA born child's visa ?

Hello,
I have applied for a student visa for me and visitor visa for my wife, we are both citizens of India. My 1.5 year old daughter was born in USA and when I tried to add my daughter to my student visa application, it said online that a visa is not needed for her. My daughter holds a USA passport. I want to ask what documents would I need for her to travel and if she can travel without any visa to Canada?

She doesn't require a visa. When you enter Canada, ask for a Visitor Record for her to match the length of your study permit.

Is there a certain age when she will have to get visa? May be when she is ready to go to school?

No. As the child of an international student, she can study in Canada as a visitor.

You should also be applying for a SOWP for your wife not a TRV.

Have you received your study permit? Has your wife received a TRV? Once you receive your student permit you should apply.

Yes I have the study permit and my wife received her TRV. Thanks for your reply.
