us visitors rejetes, applying for Canada

hi all, my parents' us visa got rejected twice for no apparent reason, no relevant ques asked or documents were looked at. i am thinking of applying a canadian visitor visa for them thinking that i can drive from US and meet them in CAN.
i am on a work permit in us, non-immigrant. my parents are both working with strong financials and assets to their name in India. and my younger brother works in india if they have to show a family tie.

I wanted to know what impact US refusals might have on my canadian application ? i understand any past refusal made an impact on your visa application to canada from some posts dated 2 - 3 years back. is it still the case ? is it highly likely that they will get a refusal from CIC also based on US refusals ? So I am trying to use Canadian visa as a work around here but intentions are just to visit and meet, and not to stay.

They will have to mention both US refusals in their visitor visa application to Canada. Yes - it's possible the US refusals may impact their Canadian visitor visa application. To be approved for a visitor visa to Canada, they should make sure their trip is a reasonable length (i.e. 2-3 weeks), that they demonstrate they have sufficient funds to pay for their visit to Canada and that they have strong ties to their home country (e.g. proof of employment, proof of property ownership, etc.).

got to get a few more clarifications to be sure -

1- now a visitor visa is simply a multiple entry, correct ?
2- there is no interview for Indian citizens residing in India; and acceptance or rejection will be informed about based on online application itself ?

and another confusion, what should i put at reason to visit(that I want to meet them in canada as a work around because us visa got rejected, no i think ?), or who should the invitation be from ? no immediate relatives for my parents in CA.
