hi
I’m currently sponsoring someone who is on implied status as her inland study permit extension has not yet been approved.
She has forgotten to declare a US b1 refusal in her SP extension. However, in her SCLPC she provided the information of US refusal. Just curious, because of her nationality she is using a EVUS online enrolment to renew her B1 every year and from the CPB official website’s visa enrolment page we can’t see any US visa refusal.
Question: will CIC found out her US B1 refusal through US-Canada info sharing. If she contacts with US embassy to reverse the visa refusal record, there’s a risk of misrepresentation. She can have her B1 revoked and banned from US.
What about the ongoing study permit extension? Does it worth the time to rise a CSQ to inform CIC about her US b1 refusal?

Already answered. Yes - CIC can find out about the refusal. Yes - she should notify CIC about the refusal.
