Is there any international student in Canada who has applied for a US tourist visa (here in Canada)?

If yes, was your us tourist visa application successful?, how do you prove 'strong ties' to your home country?

You can easily go to USA on visitor visa, provided you'll need to show that you are enrolled in full-time studies. My few friends in Canada been to USA by this way.
