WHAT IS THE REAL?UPDATED? VALIDITY OF THE POLICE CLEARANCE?
biz said:I phoned the CIC twice. On the first occasion, the CIC agent told me that PCC should be 6 months prior to the submission and could be more than 6 months if from the other countries you've live in. I'm not satisfied with her answer because it seems like she's not sure about it.
The following day I phoned again and asked the agent about PCC and told me that the rule of the thumb should be 3 months prior to its submission!
CIC agents are not being helpful nowadays.

For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.
For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.
