We did as well, however we figured it out. You need to add a 0 in the inches part. For example: If you are 5'2, you have to put 5'02 on the eDO form.

Well we came to know about the online process and took advantage of it.
Now my question is, I did select yes to get the hard copy mailed to me.
Well I still get an electronic copy plus the mailed one?
Our request from CIC is an original copy so that's why i did say yes to that question

If I remember correctly, you get a copy both electronically and by mail. However, I believe someone previously mentioned on this thread that the electronic copy is still valid to send to CIC.

Yes I did see someone post about them accepting a copy. Ill investigate more

Timelines for the eDO have gone up to 1 week. Soon, 2 weeks, then 1 month, and before you know it, we are back where we started.

Nope! They'll dispose of your visa number or if you paid by money order/certified cheque they'll send it back to you.

Yes, if you check the Identity History Summary Page you will see the small ad saying :

The FBI will be implementing a new option to electronically submit requests and receive responses for Identity History Summary Checks and Identity History Summary Challenges. The new eDO option will allow for faster processing of requests.

I got this done last week. Will CIC accept it? It says this idhs is not for employment or any other purpose pursuant to some law. Is that standard on all FBI PCCs?

Yep, you will receive electronic copy of your FBI PCC. You can download the copy within 90 days. I just receive mine last week. Less than 48 hours after the fingerprint was delivered.

Did anyone who reapplied for eDO (sent in paper application and then did the resubmit through eDO option) see an update on their application through the site? Mine still says "Insufficient - Missing fingerprints" even though we sent them in with the paper application. We sent the resubmit application and email last Thursday.

That's fine. It means that they haven't yet open your fingerprint mail. I also re-applied using eDO and I got the same status. But once they open my mail and processed it, it will change and you can download your FBI PCC softcopy from their website.
