US Police Clearance: FBI Processing Times

I called them today and they said they are opening packets for July 5th. Can anyone call and confirm the same ?

This is thru approved channelers , only applicable for US citizens or green card holders. Others have to take the long route.

is this one of the CIC approved channelers on the website? if it is, that's great! if not, don't be surprised if the report you get is not considered valid by CIC. even if it "looks the same", CIC has a way of knowing if it's from the FBI directly or from a 3rd party channeler - and they will only allow reports from specific channelers. if this is an approved channeler, then there shouldn't be an issue. if it's not, i'd recommend getting a back up in case the one you have gets rejected from CIC.

I sent my packet on June 6th and my CC was charged on August 15th! I AM SO ANXIOUS!!!!!!!

I'm in Canada though, so I would imagine I still have to wait another week or so before I actually get mine in the mail...anyone else in Canada know how long they waited after their CC was charged?

FBI received my husband's application on the 3rd of June and we received the results on the 22nd of August.

No not yet. Oh I guess 18th was a Saturday so according to them my report reached them on June 20th. When I called this week, they said it's in the final stages and would be another week at least before it's mailed out. I just need to get it before September 12th for my submission, let's see... Looks like people are starting to have it in hand in under 12 weeks so it might happen.

I called this morning (8/26). They received my application on June 20th, finished processing it on the 24th and mailed it out by regular first class mail this morning. I am in Western Canada, so I expect it will take about 6-7 days to get here.

that's good news. Can you update once you receive the report in hand ? I just want to assess the time taken for the mail to reach Canada via USPS.

for sure, will do that! no one seems to be doing that and i've been wondering the same, i have 14 days left so i just pray it comes in time. I believe it should, we are neighbors!

It took about 2 weeks after my CC was charged for it to arrive to me in Canada, so you should get it very soon.

It took 3 months as expected but I finally received my letter in the mail yesterday! I'm in Toronto, so everyone in the US would probably get it a couple days quicker than I did.

That's crazy! It took 4 days for me.

This is my timeline for everyone:

June 20th - app received
August 17th - CC charged
August 24th - finished processing
August 26th - mailed out
August 31st - arrived
