US Police Clearance: FBI Processing Times

Hey all,

I don't use the forums much anymore. However, I helped a friend fill out an application - Outland. CPP-Ottawa. She received COPR in 3 months. They never even received her corrected FBI check (she included a letter of explanation and a letter of dismissal from the court, her original FBI check did not show the dismissal). Was a very pleasant surprise. She hasn't even gotten the FBI check and has already landed as a PR, lmao.

Thanks. Quick question. When I applied for the FBI police certificate using the Canadian Police Clearance Request, I forgot to write that I visited the USA for 2 months back in 2007. I've only written there the most recent visit I had which was 2012 to 2016. Do you think I'd have problem with it? I totally forgot to include it because in my mind, I only have to write the ones with 6 months stay or more.

I didn't use the Canadian Police Clearance Request, but i don't think you will problem with it, they clearly mention country where you lived for six months or longer, so you are correct. for me i just asked it because i worked there for 18 months, not for every holidays i spent there for 3 weeks, 1 month, etc... so you don't have to worry about it i think

I have finally received my FBI PC today! so happy!
This was my timeline:

Fingerprints taken on July 21, 2016 at Montreal Quebec and sent the same day
Credit card charged on September 21, 2016.
FBI PC received at Montreal, QC: October 11.

So, as some others, i think its take 20 days after they charged your credit card to receive the paper in Canada (Quebec specifically)

My FBI Police Clearance Application Timeline:

Fingerprints taken at Camp Crame Crime Lab (PH) on 08-01-16.
Mailed the request to FBI on 08-04-16.
FBI received my request on 08-15-16.
CC was charged on 09-26-16.
Report was completed on 10-14-16.
Result was mailed out to Manitoba on 10-18-16.
Date Received: 10-26-16.

We recently received my husband's FBI clearance. We've already submitted his outland spousal PR application - how do I go about sending in this clearance and having it added to our file? We haven't gotten any AOR yet, the application was only delivered 6 days ago. Thanks in advance!
