I know I checked on Saturday, so was pretty surprised to see it today...maybe they are putting in a little overtime because of the holidays and refugees. Now waiting to see if/when I get the photo request and go from there.

AWESOME!!!!...My advice if you do get it...courier them overnight and follow up with an email when you know they have been delivered...that was last week for us...with the tracking number CIC provided we know that the COPR is in Virginia will be delivered either today or tomorrow...Maybe you will have yours before the new year!

I am thinking a bunch are getting DM because people are now aware of the 400K plus backlog...I know I posted the Quarterly Data in every single site that had one word about the Syrian Refugees....

For those of you waiting for DM ..Our process started in 2009...it has really put our lives on hold and now the paper will be in my hubby's hand today or tomorrow..He promptly got sick with a cold when he got the email saying they COPR was on its way and I cry at the drop of a hat!!!..We have slept soundly for the first time in years..For me this site has been a great place to vent...and I appear to be the one with the nasty story with every bump possible...I always feel like the negative Nancy but its been our reality...and I have discovered that CIC has a nice site that states on every corner that they basically can do what they want and they do...this has been a lesson in letting go and sucking it up...I cant wait to get back home and start the next chapter in our book....

Now at 18 days since eCAS went to DM. Only thing that has happened so far was they finally updated eCAS to show my wife's mailing address here in Canada instead of her US address. No COPR, no email asking for new photos, no fourth line in eCAS. Pure silence. :-X

Copr is here and now I retire in Feb 2016 and then drive from califorinia to Nova Scotia My wife will be excited!!!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! So some of you probably read that a couple weeks back I got an email (after my docs request) saying that CIC still needed my FBI paperwork, but I had given them the original. I was freaking out because it's a four month wait to receive the FBI stuff, so if they had in fact screwed it up they'd have delayed my application by probably six months.

I called, I visited my local MP, and I sent a case specific inquiry - all to no avail until about a week ago when someone actually replied to the case specific inquiry (even though the reply email said it would take 30 business days!) saying to disregard the precious email; that they did in fact have everything they needed.

I was still worried that my application had gotten shuffled around and stuck in some "waiting for stuff from her" pile....but I just logged into ECAS and found Decision Made waiting for me like a huge Christmas miracle!!!!

AAAAAGH!!!! So excited, and so happy. I cannot wait to finish everything and be done with CIC (for a couple years, anyway....then citizenship!)

My rough timeline (give or take a few days on dates, I'm on mobile):

Filed: May 21, 2015
SA: July 27, 2015
Doc Request: October 23, 2015
Additional (incorrect) email requesting FBI report: November 26, 2015
Decision Made: December 21, 2015!!!!!

WTG!!!!....there must be a huge PUSH to get rid of all of us that have been driving CIC crazy!!!....I can tell you it was not like this last Christmas!!!!...So happy for you!!!
