Awesome Figtoria!

Its a little over four months since CIC received our application. I don't think I can wait another six months. Timeline seems to be increasing? While rest of the world is getting faster. Come on Ottawa.

Anyone having issuing signing onto ECAS?

I have requested case notes for the 5th time...lol...wonder what whole bunch of nothing will be in them this time?...lol

Hi all,

Just curious how often/many time that you ordered case notes?

I filed for them a few weeks ago, and received an email asking for me to sign a few documents, etc., so that they can release them to my wife.

I have a hunch they'll reveal nothing, so I'm wondering what you all recommend for spacing out the requests for the future.

Thanks! ;D

Ineffable....I order them when I feel like it....Our case went "In Process" June 23 2015 after nothing since Apr 2014 and I ordered case notes a few days later for the forth time and there was nothing in the notes...I ordered them this time cause I know there has been movement in our case and I want to see if there is a record of some kind....The CIC site states it can take up to 30 days..it should say it takes 30 days period unless the 30th day is on the weekend and then you get it on the Friday!!!!...For the most part I have found them useless but in my case the request for case notes was the only movement from August 2014 to June 2015....Hope that helps....Not sure what others experience but that is mine...

Hi, first time posting but have been watching these forums for a while

My husband is American, and they received our application first week of Nov, 2014. Stage 1 was complete in Jan, and just today the status changed to In Progress. We are very excited, nervous, and hopeful.

I was wondering how long most people have waited until they got a DM after they went IP?

Congrats. You are really close. You should get decision made in few weeks.

Hi Guys,

I'm a June 1st 2015 applicant and I got approved for SA on July 28th 2015. I got the news through the call centre since I'm still waiting for my letter of approval. Anyways...today I checked my ECas and it says Permanent Residence Status is In Process...Is that even possible? I don't even know at what VO the application is. Could it have just been kept in Missisauga? I'm so confused!

SA notification is usually sent out a few days after it actually happens, I got mine the day before Ottawa received my file, according to my case notes. I got In Process a week after SA.

Assuming your file is processed by Ottawa, looks like you're on the fast track for approval very soon.
