CIC has not updated Ottawa visa office processing time since may 20. It's been over two months. Curious to see if the 16 month processing time would go down in the next update
It's updated quarterly and the last I remember there are 4 quarters in a year, so that equals 3 months. I wouldn't expect much in either direction, maybe it'll go to 17 months, maybe it could go back to 15 months. Based on history, they pickup processing family sponsorship applications in the early summer and slow down in the fall, until the next summer.Confused987 said:CIC has not updated Ottawa visa office processing time since may 20. I agree. Also, I highly doubt they'll drop the time frame. The 16 months gives them a lot of not having to deal with people until way late in the game.Sunset0505 said:Confused....CIC has its own time..they do not work on real world time....the last time there was an update it was almost a year...July 2014 to May 2015..I figure that CIC work on 1/4 decades and not 1/4 years!!!!...its one of the things as a Canadian that drive me crazy...Who is CIC accountable to?
OH!!!! Hahahah!!! Guess I'm behind on Internet lingo lolSunset0505 said:Thats ^=high hence ^5!!!!...lol
Weird. Has that doctor's office had trouble with any other application?Sunset0505 said:So hubby went for third medical today...Dr office THINKS but has not received a response, that the meds he did in June 2015 CIC could not figure out how to open the attachment..The Dr office called CIC and emailed but nothing, the office said that they hope to hear something within 3 to 4 business days...So hubby drove to Maryland for nothing but he jumped through the hoop CIC put in front of us...the due date is 24SEP2015....so we wait again
Yeah this is crazy! I'm glad you got an understanding doctor. I'm pretty certain the office I went to would have been perfectly happy accepting more money from meSunset0505 said:No problems with other cases...they even showed my husband the computer screen to show him all the info was there and they did not charge him for anything this time...Its kinda nice when the Dr does his or her job and they get upset that someone can't read their work...It makes the doctors office look bad and they fight for you..they told us if they hear anything they will contact my husband and they requested that if CIC contacts him first to contact the Dr office...they want to be in touch either way before the week ends....If neither one of us hears from CIC i will contact the MP again...We should not have to complete three Meds because someone can't open an attachment...
