Congratulations to both of you! My DM timeline is similar, so fingers crossed that there are no odd delays between printing and Canada post.

I'l ll be the third to get COPR yesterday! Similar timeline to the two above. I was concerned the Canada Post would delay but I think the document went out June 30. DM updated on their system on July 2, and COPR received (in Utah) on July 9. Crazy Fast!

Anyone else have to land fairly quickly? My valid window states landing by August 13...time to move quickly :o

Congrats! I don't have to land until November, however, since I've already been here for a year without working I'm anxious to cross the border soon! I also need to get my stuff out of storage and into my house. :)

Looking at comparable timings I should receive the COPR pretty soon (DM on July 3rd). To be honest I was hoping to have a bit more time for landing (such as a 1-year medical extension that would take me to July 2016 deadline). I guess I'll see what happens.

Isn't the window good just as long as your medical? My husbands is good till next year since he got his meds done in Jan.

Usually, yes, but from the Ottawa spreadsheet the medicals for the above poster were done at the end of July, 2014. They could conceivably receive a COPR with a very short deadline.

That's frustrating! What sort of info did they ask for (aside from a second medical)? Also, was that second medical because the application had taken so long?

In October of last year they requested financial support information from me and I can see why that delayed the application slightly.

Hopefully we both hear good news soon! :)

My Husband was deemed rehabbed by CIC 3 years ago( which took 2.5 years to get) at that time you could apply for an TRP extension when living outside Canada, now you have to fill out an entire new application...based on the CIC site we do not think he needs another TRP but we sent one into New York so that we do not have problems at the border...CIC LA wanted an entire new Rehab Application AFTER 2nd meds were completed...thank goodness they are going to request the paper work we have in New York cause if not it would mean 12 to 16 weeks to get an FBI check again...As well they want my employment info, which has been the same for the past 5 years and proof I was going to live in Canada...like I have said I do not mind jumping through hoops for CIC but tell me what hoops I need to jump through...the case sitting for 10 months without anyone touching it made me crazy and I wonder if emailing the Office of Immigration had anything to do with the recent movement...

My husband landed today! Everything went great!

My medicals expired July 8, I received my COPR on July 9 and they are giving me until August 13 to land. Pretty tight I think... :o

What happened to the medical extensions that were handed out earlier?
In case someone decides not to land within the date stated on the COPR, can he let it expire and then reapply?

Hi all,

Does anyone know approximately how many days after SA is received that an application is sent to the Ottawa VO? I'm told that AOR2 doesn't happen Ottawa.

Thanks! ;D

Unfortunately Ottawa has not been sending out AOR2, so it's unlikely that you'll hear anything until your status changes to IP or they ask for further documents. Mississauga and Ottawa aren't that far apart so it probably gets to Ottawa in decent time but sits there until they are ready to process it.

I got In Process 7 days after SA, and then got an email requesting my CSQ.
