Hey quit talking about me behind my back! :P

Yupp I filed in August but my app was processed in Ottawa, I think files that get transferred to LA get a different processing time. The last time I checked, LA was faster than Ottawa but I haven't checked in a while. If you're concerned something is up with your file, you might consider ordering your notes, they may give you an idea why it's being held up.

There is also a thread and spreadsheet for august apps, the thread is floating around here somewhere, and the spreadsheet is in my signature =) There weren't many US applicants though, at least not ones that are on here.

It's also worth noting that my case was processed differently, I skipped the passport request step for some unknown reason and lucked out. Unfair, I know =( If I knew what I did to make them do it that way I would tell everyone =(

Parker24 has the LA spreadsheet in her signature. I think she's in charge of editing it. It's helpful I remember this now instead of earlier when I was typing my first reply.

If it means anything I didn't even remotely think of it lol

But I have an excuse! I'm sick and doped up on cold medicine :P

:DHello everyone!

I don't remember who asked me about my ecase changing but we were away this weekend and I received an email from ecase tracker saying that my ecase had changed to decision made!
When we got home I went online to ecase and it had changed to decision made on may 15th!
And that they would be contacting me soon!

Congrats to you. Decision was made on mine on May 13th and received COPR today so you should have within the next couple of days.

Congrats! On a very selfish note, I am very happy to see October applicants getting COPR! :)

Although I imagine Ivan will be pulling his hair out. If he has any left after this process. :(

Thanks. I'm sure it is frustrating to Ivan, hopefully it won't be much longer for him.

Hopefully not! I'm still super excited for you in my own selfish little ways :D Great timing too. Usually Murphy's Law catches people and they get the COPR after the trip!

That's usually my luck and what I was expecting, so I was pleasantly surprised to get it today.

I have lots of hair, don't worry! It's getting grayer, but not falling out (I've got my father's hair genes, thankfully).

In other news, this weekend my wife and I found and leased a nice apartment in Montreal starting July 1. We'll email the lease tomorrow as further documentation of my intent to move to Canada, just in case the VO has any lingering doubts after all the other copious documentation we sent to them.

And tomorrow, another 500-mile drive.

Congratulations on finding your apartment :)
Hope that your return to the US was uneventful.

We crossed into the US today on our way to pick up possessions and will return to
Canada to land on Friday morning. Very exciting.

Question about importing car:

We initially leased our car in 2010 but then finally bought it off this february. Got the title to the car around feb of this year Now planning to import the car to canada next month. Somebody mentioned that i had to have the title for 6 month before i can import it. I am a new permanent resident and did include my car on the B4 form when i landed few weeks ago. Is it true, i have to OWN the car for 6 months before bringing to Canada?
Thanks.

Easy both ways - entering Canada the border guard was all business, but not unfriendly. Told her what we were doing, she saw our basically empty car, and sent us on our merry way. Returning to the US, the border guard was a perky blonde who seemed a little too happy to be standing in a booth at the border at 8 a.m. - very suspicious!

Received COPR yesterday! WOOHOO! Can someone pls update me on the spreadsheet?
Finally done :) I am so relieved. Now my only question left is- do we have to fill out a separate B4 form for the children, or just one for the PA?
