Hello all,
Was hoping for some help on understanding this matter.
I just received an email from CPP-O stating:
"This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We have now completed the initial assessment of your application, and expect to finalize your application without a personal interview. While an interview does not appear necessary at this time, we reserve the right to call you to an interview, should this become necessary at some future stage in processing.
In order to continue processing your application, the following is required:
Ø Certificat de sélection du Québec from the ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles for yourself.
Please note:
All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable.
The above information/documents must be received in our office within 60 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to CPP-Ottawa at the address indicated below."
I have received my CSQ about a month ago along with a letter stating that they will transmit the relevant information of the issuance of my CSQ to the Canadian visa office CTD de OTTAWA. Also in this letter written in bold font was the statement, Care must be taken not to misplace the original copy of this certificate, as you will be required to produce it in order to receive various Quebec Government services.
So am I supposed to send in my original CSQ so they can finish processing my application or should they have this information already? If I do send it in will I get it back?
Either way this is very good news I believe. I never expected to hear anything at this point as my sponsor was just approved less than 3 months ago.
