I thought eligibility for Americans doesn't change until decision made on gckey?
What?
Oh yeah. Mine hasn't changed. Like I said before. The call center told me they've started it since they sent an inquiry as to why I hadn't heard anything in three months in regards to a transfer.
So MyCIC hasn't updates or anything. But the call center told me everything is fine.

If my personal experience and the experiences of my friends are any indication, then yes 3-6 months is the usual for US citizen spouses. I myself still cant believe it only took 3 months from the time I got AOR1 to the time I landed. It was a pleasant surprise.
But is this the same for common law?
And what if we are living in Canada?

I would think so. 3-6 months is the average so far.
We just hit four months the other day.
So. Here's to hoping we hear back soon.
Like I said before. The app is in Mississauga getting its eligibility done.
Then going to Ottawa for BGC and PCC.
That's what we were told. :/
Getting worried though.

Is it normal for my background check to not be in process? Meds were passed 9 business days ago

What are the chances my gckey just didn't get updated to show background check in process?

Gckey isn't reliable sometimes. Sit back, relax, and just wait for the PPR.

We did medical upfront and had our docs uploaded after SA. Third line changed April 22nd. Still waiting. Ottawa VO.

It's been 1 month to the day since my package was signed for.. US Outland application. Not hear or received anything in response and I am a little stressed... Should I call, can I call, any tips?

I would just chill for a while, it took me three weeks to get AOR1. There's a backlog right now so it will take a bit longer. you should be okay. I would just wait to call since no AOR means not in their systems.

It took me a little over a month to get my AOR (received May 9). If you haven't already you can go to the May spreadsheet (see link in signature), request access, then add your information. You'll be able to see what step everyone's applications are in.

Thanks all, will stand by for a while longer.. here is to hoping. On the plus side, I was able to get a NAFTA work permit two weeks ago, so have been able to work during this process. Helps so much!!

I just received a request to pay my right of permanent residence fee (since I didn't pay it up front). My ECAS is in progress as is my background check. Do any of you know at what point applications are at when they ask for the RPRF? Thanks.

If your background check is in progress and you got requested for the fee payment then PPR must be near. Could be days, weeks, but I doubt it will be more than 1 month and a half.
