You shouldn't be too concerned yet. It took 8 days for my PPR email to show up. 6 business days. Given that Monday is a holiday, it'll probably show up Tuesday night after 6 p.m.

Thats true, I didn't think about holidays or weekends. Just gotta be patient Hopefully the next round of emails will come Tuesday!

For someone who got their DM less than 2 months after applying, it shouldn't be too hard to wait a tiny bit longer

I'm just anxious cause I'm paranoid it's not a good decision! But based on what people have said we should be fine. I never expected to get DM so quick. I used the old form so maybe they are trying to get all the people who used the old app processed ASAP so they can move on to the new. Hopefully their new system will be fast for everyone.

If ECAS shows "Decision Made", and MyCIC has your background check "In Progress", you're approved. You would probably know by now if it was going to be denied. In most denials, CIC sends out a procedural fairness letter before making the final decision to reject.

I may be incorrect but I believe a forum member said for US applicants they suggest to use a courier, FedEx/UPS/etc.

I may be incorrect but I believe a forum member said for US applicants they suggest to use a courier, FedEx/UPS/etc.

In request to me they said we can use any mail service or courier but prefer mode is Canadapost, as this can be trakable.

We can send to Cpc-Ottawa by courier but they will send back passport by regular mail even if we provide them return address label of courier service.

Need your help please.

I applied for my son's PR but got some IMM 5604 form request by Ottawa office.

Me and my wife are having Canadian PR. We just moved from USA to Canada and are currently in Canada. I have my little one who is a USA citizen and for him I applied Canadian PR in November 2016

I just got below email Today from Ottawa office asking about filling some IMM 5604 form. I don't think that form is for me and also that was not part of Family sponsorship package.

Can you please help me what is this form and why I need to fill this one ? As me and my wife are the only natural/legal parents of our son.


Anyone else faced same scenario please ?
