We are still waiting for ours this will be the third week we have been waiting since the DM on ECAS. I am starting to worry but also with the refugee crisis and holidays coming I would not be surprised if things were delayed some. I will likely call next Monday if we do not get it by Friday.
I believe the gov't has a whole other department working only on the refugee cases. The refugees shouldn't affect family class... but you know, I guess it's hard to say for certain. I've heard rumors that December is a slow month all around, even before holidays.

All our correspondences have come to me the sponsor in Canada, is it possible because we applied out of country that even though we specified they contact me in Canada they sent his papers to the US? Also we do not have any line saying that the papers are sent but my understanding was that they would be within week or 2 of the DM and can arrive up to 4 weeks after but we still do not have a line saying anything was sent does that mean they aren't sending it? My hubby was visiting when it went to DM so we just had him wait here because all our mail has come to me in Canada so if it goes to his old address in the US well we will likely never see it. On ECAS it is still my mailing address and my hubby doesn't have an ECAS account.
Many people never see a 4th line, so that's not an issue. If you are the official representative it's likely going to you, but worth a check. Many people are having it take 3 weeks, so as you said, maybe wait until Monday and then give the call center a try...

Are you outside of Canada? It can take a long time to get mail across a border. And your DM date is not necessarily when they actually mailed the COPR, unless you are lucky enough to get the "correspondence sent" line.
This happened for me at the end of the summer. Despite receiving DM in the third week of June, my COPR was not printed for a full month. Based on the issue/receipt dates, it was promptly mailed once printed.

As far as I can tell, CIC sometimes batch-prints COPRs, and it may have something to do with regional offices.

What did you put for his mailing address or are you the representative?

Phone the CIC call centre and ask when and where the COPR was mailed. They can actually help with that information.

Also, he should have an ECAS unless there is some kind of bug or misspelling in the system.

I posted this in the Ottawa thread, but I got DM today.
I'm a US citizen, initially sponsored by my common-law partner, though we got married two months ago (and sent all the paperwork to CIC, which may be why our case was behind the slate of DMs from last week?)

Timeline:
Received: 06MAY2015
AOR: 04JUN2015
SA: 06JUL2015
IP: 09OCT2015
Married: 17OCT2015
Batch email: 23OCT2015
Replied: 29OCT2015
DM: 03DEC2015

Now I await my COPR. It will be coming to our Vancouver, BC address. :)

and then there is us...we were told today that it will take a least another 2 to 3 weeks for our case to be reviewed because there are files ahead of us..this is delayed because CIC cant figure out how to open an email attachment they requested...total crap...they wanted copies of all our payments and they have had our money for almost two years...funny I can see they payments and where they were applied in the case notes...make no sense...none at all...

I am pleased to report that we also went to DM today.

I was on our lunchtime Facetime call with my wife (she's stuck at home while I'm working) and she asked if I checked eCAS today. I told her I would do it right away and so she got to see my reaction when I said "Holy #^%$*(%$!!!!! It says Decision Made!!!!"

Make sure your Case Manger knows how to open the emedical attachment ...it took us 2.5 months to find out that they could figure out how to open the attachment and the CIC Dr ended up having to mail the meds...

Congratulations to everyone who has recently received DM/COPR!

I'm hoping someone can answer this: some people do a quick landing and return to the US to settle unifinished matters. How risky is it for someone with condition 51 to do a quick landing and return to Canada 1-2 months later? I'm worried that I'll be interrogated when I come back because I wouldn't be living with my spouse for those 1-2 months in the US.

The only way we found out that they didn't get the second medicals is because they asked for a third and the CIC Dr told us the medical file did not have any other directions and then this is then the CIC dr called emailed ...we emailed and even the CIC help desk emailed a request..it took 2.5 months for CIC to respond to the CIC Dr...By the way our Medicals is in Ottawa...Our file in LA Medical in Ottawa...

I didn't even know he was supposed to have an ecas until recently and when I tried it nothing comes up. I put my mailing address for all mailing addresses. I got his roommate to check the mail she said he hasn't received anything at that address which was listed as his he address on the application and still technically is. I will likely call in tomorrow or Monday. Someone was saying you can request come sort of paper from them that gives info but I don't know what it is and likely it would come after the DM paperwork because that letter should be in the mail queue already.

Posted this last week and didn't get any responses. Just wanted to check again and see if anyone could help. Thanks.

Hello everyone! I'm sure this question has been asked a million times but I'm having trouble finding info on the CIC website and need a little help. My husband and our 3 young children are all dual US/Canadian citizens. He works at a university and currently has interviews scheduled for jobs in Canada and we're hoping to move at the end of the this school year. I asked before on this forum and it seemed as though people thought we could start the application process once he had interviews scheduled. I've been working on my background checks and have my medical exam scheduled for next month. We're gathering all the forms now and I'm working on supporting documentation. I'm stuck in an internet loop between Guide 3900 and the checklist without being able to find any concrete info on either. Are they looking for primarily financial evidence? We've been married for 8 years and all our finances are merged - joint bank accounts, house, car, credit cards, etc. I was planning to send our children's birth certificates, car title, mortgage info and bank account info, essentially anything that has both our names on it and a lot of photos from the previous 8 years. What else should I send? Do we need to get affidavits from family even though we've been married for 8 years and have three kids and completely shared finances?

And two more smaller questions - our kids currently only have U.S. passports. They have their Canadian citizenship cards but not Canadian passports since we're living in the U.S. Do we need to get these for me to apply or can that wait until we're ready to move?

And the form also asks me to submit photos for all my spouse and dependents? I'm assuming this would be for people whose spouse and dependents are immigrating with them not those are already Canadian citizens?

Thank you so much for any help you can give!
