Hi does anyone know when US embassy in Toronto will start scheduling Visa Interview appointments for various US visas? There's currently no availability due to COVID but just wondering if anyone has any more info on it.

Yes, currently most of the consulates are showing latest appointment dates as July or August. There is no news on when they are going to serve regular appointments as of now. As the government changed very recently expecting some good update!

Yes, you can fill a new DS-160 to book an appointment in Vancouver.
If you want to book an appointment in India you have to go through a different Website and pay the fee again.
This information has not been out yet. With new restrictions in place not clear when are they going to relax the measures on serving regular appointments.they have some toronto appointments now too but only seeing DecemberI paid the fees as well but the earliest is Vancouver in August is what i got.
Do any of you know if the lockdown in Canada ends soon, its possible for them to open up more appnts and also earlier?
Hi, in this case of booking at a different location like Vancouver, we will fill out DS 160 for Vancouver but just use the reschedule option to pick Vancouver? Assuming initial appointment was scheduled in Toronto.
Where do we provide this new DS 160 info?
The thing is you can still be able to reschedule using old DS160 but given the conditions right now, they might question you of different centre in your ds160,so better to fill DS160 is what few people suggested in this forum. I am not very particular about how to punch in new DS160 number. The only way i know is Cancel the appointment and re-book with new DS160.
Would anyone know the answer to this: If while filing H1B petition, the consulate is selected as Toronto, can we still go to home country if there are no appointments in Toronto? Currently in Canada on PR.
Can first time H1b stamping be done at Toronto? it is the 2nd h1 extension but we could no go to india due to covid. Now that we have to go for softlanding can we get H1b stamping at Toronto while coming back?
Did you check for available dates first in place? the next available date is in Oct 2022 in toronto as of today.
