Hello again,
I really need help on my work exp confusion. I have already asked many people, but the confusion is still there. I gained work exp while doing my PhD. I read somewhere that work ex with studies will not be considered under express entry, so I am a little worried. Actually my situation was: as much as I was actually doing PhD and eventually obtained the degree, the contract that I was given for phd was a work-contract, for a part-time position with 19 hours 45 min/week workload. I would take seminars for undergrad students (job responsibilities coincided with some of those mentioned in one of the NOCs). I got salary every month (instead of phd fellowship) and paid taxes. Thus, while I actually was an employer, I simultaneously was doing PhD. My visa status said research, employee. I am skeptical as to whether or not they would see it as workex! Any help would be big time appreciated, maybe from the ones who have faced a similar situation, like being phd employee and not a student.
Thanks a lot
