Urgent : Student status restore and post graduate work permit help needed

Hi,
I am international student. My study permit and TRV got expired on 31st December, 2014. I graduated on 30 December,2014 but due to technical issues I got my letter of graduation from university on January 8,2015. I lost my status due to this.

I applied for student status restoration and Post graduate work permit using IMM5709 on January 10,2015 and attached a letter of explanation why my status got expired but haven't heard back from CIC till now. I have a very good job offer but can't work due to this situation and employer needs a tentative timeline.

Can anybody help me how long it will take for my application to get processed and any way to expedite my application ?

it takes 3 to 4 months for restoration

Thanks for reply. Does it mean that 3 to 4 months for restoration and then additional time(49 days as per cic website) for work permit ?
