Hello all,

I applied my SINP skilled worker on April 19th 2012 and I got email from immigration office with File number on May 13th 2012.
Right now, I am still waiting their result or update status. in the meantime, My working permit is going to expire on Oct 31 2012.
What can I do or any options if the permit expired before the result came out ?

Please help me out

Thank you

Tom

Why dont you just extend your work permit?

Hi Tom

Last year I was in the same situation as you.
You just need to extend your work permit with the letter that the SINP sent you. This letter came when the SINP approved you.

If the letter did not come to you before the working permit expired, what should I do?

Thank you

I am the AINP nominee. I got a letter from the AINP office when they nominated me. Did u get a similar letter from them? you can use that to renew ur work permit. But the new one will be a close work permit with a 2 years time frame.

I only got the Received letter with File number and nothing else. If my working holiday visa is going to expire, What is my option ? My company might not able to get LMO for me.

yea, that was the letter I submitted along with my WP online application. When you fill out the online form, if you state that u are a provincial nominee, at the very last step, they will ask you to upload the letter.

um....I am kind of confused. That lettere with file number can apply WP ? I am still waiting the nominee result right ?

Without the SINP letter i guess you cannot extend ur WP. I am not 100% sure though.

I am in the same boat. My working holiday visa is due to expire on 8th July 2012. My employer has submitted a PNP application and am waiting for an approval. The lawyer said I can apply to extend my working holiday visa now and include a letter from my employer stating we are awaiting an approval from the PNP application. This will not 'extend' my work visa but will allow me to continue working past the 8th July until I receive the approval letter, then my visa extension will be confirmed. Once my extension is approved, I can then begin my application for PR.

Not sure if this is the answer you are looking for but I hope it helps.

-How did you extend your working holiday visa. Can you provide more details please ?
-Where did you get your working holiday visa ? Mine is from Hong Kong. would it be difference because of the country?
-Your Employer submitted PNP application. I though SNIP need to be applied on your own not the employer. isn't it ?

Thank you
