URGENT!!! Questions regarding extension and restoration.

Hi,

I am seeking to extend my visa. Now I have been done some research online regarding the extension process but I still have some questions.

My Temporary Resident Visa will be expired on October 6, which is less than two weeks from now. If I mail my extension application before October 6, should I still apply for the restoraion first since the Immigration Office will receive my application and process my case after my Visa expiration date?

I am also wondering if I do need to apply the restoration of the status, how? Because I could not find any application form or any instruction about how to apply restoration except that I need to pay $200 fee for it.

If I do need to apply for the restoration, should I apply the restoration and extension separately by filling out two different application? Are the restoration and extension two different applications? or I just apply for the extension, and the payment receipt of $200 fee would reflect my restoration status?

Please help me..

You don't have to file a restoration of status application now since you are still "in status" but when you send your application for extension send it by courier or make sure it reaches CPC-V before the expiration or before Oct 6 that is. Track it.
