Urgent Question About COPR

Hello everyone! I got PPR in late Nov, 2017 and my passport got delivered to CPC-OTTAWA on Dec,06th with UPS. Last week I saw approval on my GCKEY account with PR visa expiry date, but It has been 1 week now, and my return tracker still hasn't been activated yet. I checked my prepaid return tracking recipe with UPS and found out the return shipping method is "UPS GROUND", which is domestic shipping only in 50 states in US. What should I do right now? Will UPS still deliver my passport back with UPS ground since the US UPS post office has already created the prepaid return tracking label for me when I sent my passport to Canada. Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thank you very much !

I would email CPC-Ottawa if you have not already. Besides that I'm not sure what else you can do...

This is such a pain in my ass. I asked UPS to pick the right service for me and they said UPS ground should be fine and even created the return tracking label from Ottawa to US for me in the post office. I just found out UPS ground is actually a domestic shipping method.

I am surprised that they were able to successfully create the label if the shipping method isn't actually valid

Same situation and similar dates here. I wasn't aware of the UPS ground/domestic issue till I saw your post, but it looks like our package got shipped yesterday and will arrive via UPS ground next week. Hopefully yours went out at the same time too. Good luck.

Ya I thought I would be a problem. Thank god it went through custom smoothly and i will get my passport today!
