Perfect.

Quick question, did you request UP originally with your application or it was through webform after getting your AOR?
I requested UR after I received AOR. 15 days after Receiving AOR I submitted using webform.
Sydney considered my request and my status changed to In progress after 2 weeks from the date I submitted my webform

My local officer ( Montreal) received my file on 16th Dec. I dont know when my local office accepted my UR request.

Just now one OP sent me the message, unfortunately his local office didn't accept his UR request but sydney accepted.

Fantastic. Lucky you! In the case of the OP, if they don’t accept your request - do they let you know or they just continue to process it normally without informing the applicant the status of the request?

@sookie85 any update on your application?
Nope. Called IRCC last week, the agent told me background and security checks are in process and I should start preparing for the test as they send it right away after BG checks are done.

@thatguyoverthere , I just talked to the OP over phone he quoted that one of the applicant from Vancouver office received e-mail from his local officer that his Urgent request is accepted and he will be receiving the Invitation for test in few weeks

I haven't received any e-mail from my local office and None of the IRCC agents says that my UR is accepted my Local office

I see, keeping my fingers crossed for him. Thank you for the insights and information. Congrats once again, and enjoy the not-so-new adventure :)

@sookie85 yes there is more likely chance you will get test invite after BC and security checks are done.
In my case two days before my case officer reached over phone, I tried to contact IRCC about my status she said my checks are almost done .
After two days my case officer contacted me over e-mail ( as I couldn't answer the phone) for test and interview

Thanks for the info. I know it's hard to predict, but how long do you think BC & Sec. checks take? In my case it has been less than a month now since they started according to GCMS notes.

Oh ok. The spreadsheet didn't show in process yet.

Yes that's me that's being referenced. They actually made it sound like I'll get test invite asap ("next available session") and then oath invite after checks are cleared. Not sure if that's what's happening though.

Also they said I'd have the normal 21 days, we'll see I guess :-)
