I was called by IRCC. My urgent processing request will be considered after all. I don’t want to get my hopes up but the officer said they will try to move things before my fingerprints expire later this month. Praying for ceremony soon!

However tracker still says LPP in progress? Is this normal?

Email matters in case of Oath. Tracker updates are generally delayed.

Hi guys

I really need your help and I would really appreciate full details. I have a medical condition and I need to urgently address my health issue by travelling abroad. I want to got to Egypt but I need a visa and I called the Egyptian Embassy and the told me I'd need to wait 40 days for approval from their government back in Egypt plus 1 to 2 months wait which is too long. I need urgent processing of my Canadian application and hence my passport to easily enter Egypt. My question is: in addition to confirmed booking in an Egyptian hospital and doctor's note/test from here in Canada, is there anything else I need to submit, or that you suggest I include in my Web Form?

Not sure if it helped, probably not as it was magically way too fast, but after submitting my urgent process request, my LPP got updated basically same day, within a day. Could be another sweet and mysterious IRCC coincidence.

Yeah. The automated reply came back within an hour after submitting the request.

Hi all. I am due to apply for citizenship soon. My current job would require me to travel for work and the wait time for US via is 700+ days. Can I apply for urgent processing on this basis? Has anyone done that before. Thanks in advance

Just got updated On LPP Aug 2nd 2023 . While bag-round and Prohibition are still in progress. Requested urgent application process not sure what happening. Called IRCC they said wait for the next steps everything looks fine. Bag round in progress since March 2023. Any idea how LPP turn’s completed while bag round i. Progress

Hello, I applied for citizenship in March 2023. my background got completed on May 15th and my test was completed on may 29th. I had to apply for urgent processing on July 25 since my dad sickness. Since I sent the webform with the supporting document, I received 2 emails. 1st email confirming that I have submitted the webform and the second email is a generic email saying that if webform that I sent is document that they request then they will not respond but if the webform that I sent was a request then they will respond after that. since that email on Aug 3, I didn't hear anything back from IRCC and my application is not showing any progress. Based on your knowledge, how long does it take for IRCC to respond to an urgent processing request. Thank you and good luck to every one
