Urgent: Need to Contact IRCC!

I am having major issues with my application to sponsor my husband for permanent residency in Canada (as outlined in a previous post). All of my attempts to contact IRCC by mail using the link they provided have been unsuccessful. There is some issue with our application information and with them linking us to our application, even with the UCI and Application #s they provided. So, I was hoping to call and speak to someone today, only to find that as I live in the U.S. I cannot contact IRCC by phone!

They have requested additional documentation that must be in by the end of the month and they are refusing to accept it. I have tried to send it twice now with the same results. They keep informing me that the information I have provided does not match what they have on file, but I have given them every bit of information I have. I am also unable to link my account with my GC Key. I get the same result, they cannot find our application in the system.

We received our UCI and Application numbers a couple weeks ago and I had to wait on the CRA to send me the documents they were asking for. Now I find myself unable to complete the process. What should I do? Please help! I am very worried they are going to refuse our application now because of some error on their end.

The link they provided was for the webform, it isn’t working. I’ve sent the documents they requested twice and they rejected them both times.

I guess there is nothing more I can do if I can’t get through to them on Skype. I’ll just need to wait for their decision, which will likely be a refusal, since they can’t seem to find our application in the system.

Are you not able to use a telephone and call them? There's a direct Ottawa number available. I get that it will cost some money, but maybe a long-distance charge is better than a refusal?

If you call 1-613-944-4000 from the US and a normal telephone, it will work. The 1-800 is limited to Canada, but the 1-613 number is direct and will not ban you just cause you're a Yankee

Don't wait for refusal. Mail it and contact your MP in Canada and ask for them to inquire about the issue.

At this point in the process, your app should be in the system, so it's weird it isn't being recognized. If you want to move to DM and show me what you're entering, maybe I can see if something stands out as being the cause of the issue.

Haha, well then you're just a snowbird. Do try to call the number. There isn't always an app for everything.

Linking the app online is a NIGHTMARE! I"m still trying to do that with no luck.
