Hello,
I travelled to USA for freinds wedding and I got rejected to fly back to Canada due to missing PR Card.
I am a valid PR & just needs to get back for work. I really need to get ASAP (already been delayed over a week - travel document application process is too long). Is it possible to fly to Buffalo and I will ask my friend to come and pick me up. I have Korean Passport, Drivers license, health card and credit card.
Please please kindly help, I am here all by myself and dont know the neighbourhood. Thank you :'(

You can re-enter Canada through a US/Canada land border using a private vehicle (e.g. friend's car) as long as you have your landing document (COPR) with you.

Thank you so so much for your quick reply. I do not have landing paper (COPR) with me. Is that the only way?

If your friend could pick you up at the border, and bring the landing document to you, you should be good to cross back into Canada in a private, non-commercial vehicle.

You don't really need the COPR. Just with your passport CBSA can still confirm your PR status, although it will probably require a trip to secondary inspection so expect the border crossing to take a bit longer.

Landing paper/ Health Card or any other documents through wich you can prove your permanent residence in Canada.

Health card does nothing to prove your PR status.

You don't get PR TDs from the embassy, you get them from the visa application centres (VAC). In USA, they are only in Washington DC, New York and LA.

You can drop off your PR TD app and passport in person, and pick up everything also in person once it's completed. Else you can arrange to courier app/passport to VAC and back to you again.

As long as you have a US visa or hold a passport that makes you visa exempt for travel to the US - yes.

None of us can tell you that - it's quite possible you may be refused. Even with a PR card, there's no guarantee a US visa will be approved.
