Urgent Information Regarding Refrence letter ...

Hello Frds:
I am working as a cook. this resturent owner has 8 resturent therefore he gave few of them in partnership to other person but still he is a sleeping partner(51%) shere now the resturent where I am working as short order cook that owner (active partner) told me 4-5 month ago that he will give me letter on letter head and told me that he is ready to give me whatever I want writen on letter head related to my Job. From last 4-5 months i just hire lawer, preaparing for documents and took ielts test now when I am almost done with my forms and document. I also prepared the rough refrence letter to give it to my owner so that he can print it on latter head. yesterday I gave it to my owner and today he told me that the sleeping partner(51% holder) has told that as they have so many employes therefore according to there pattern they cannot give refrence letter on latter head they can give offer letter on letter head. But as my store owner aready promiss me so he convence them and they said that they are going to remove there address from letter head and also they will not give the print out on on hard copy letter head Just they will print it on normal paper although Logo will be there in printed formate but still no address and not on orignal letter head(Hard Copy). Although my store owner will put his name and sign it with stamp on it.
So my question is that will this kind of letter head will be acceptable.

Hi,
Your reference letter must be on the company letter head and it must have the company's name,address,email addresses,telephone number...basically all the contact information.

I agree with you . But in the letter which I got there is restaurant logo(as it is franchise) Also it has the name and contact no.( including store no. & cell no.) of active partner who is also manager of store .
If cic will call him then then it will not be problem

You have two options:

1- Your employer gives you everything on the reference letter that the CIC checklist asks for.

2- Your employer gives you parts but not all of it.

1 is perfect, 2 is not. Either way, as long as you want to apply, you have to submit whatever your employer agrees and hope for the best. Make sure to include all the other employment documentation (T4 forms, NOA, etc.)

I agree with thisisauser on the above. You apply with whatever you can get & hope for the best. But then, you can always try to get more

Not all employer's have a letterhead. You haven't mentioned what is on the stamp? If the stamp is good enough, it MAY be accepted.

Can you also get the business card of the person who is signing your letter? Hopefully, that has the restaurant name (or franchise) and the address. If he has one & if you can attach that with the reference letter.
