My PGWP expires soon and I really really need help to find a way to stay! Not enough points for express entry and I need two more months for 1 year experience. After asking around a few fellow students there are still no clear options so please help me.
1. Apply for PGWP extension knowing it will be rejected but I can keep working on implied status?
2. Apply for visitor visa and find a job with LMIA.
3. Try to get married and get sponsored.
4. Apply for asylum.
None of the options make any sense and would the experience under 1 even count for express entry? Please help with any information you can. It's very frustrating why Canada is limiting options now. I see people everyday who have PR and can't even communicate in English. What am I doing wrong?

How soon does your PGWP expire? One issue we seem to be seeing too frequently here is that people are waiting until the last minute to sort out their options instead of planning in advance. A PGWP has never guarantee PR.

Getting married only makes sense if you are in a genuine relationship now. Otherwise it is marriage fraud.

Applying for refugee status only makes sense if you have an actual genuine case. Otherwise this will create far more issues for you that you think it may solve.

Your best option is to apply for extension knowing it will be denied to try and get the 1 yr of Canadian experience. Doesn’t guarantee a pathway to stay or get PR. With the 1 yr experience what is your CRS score and NOC? What province do you live in? Do you know French?
