currently I am working in Newfoundland NOC B, I have LMIA and got 1 year closed work permit starting from 1 july 2015 to 1st july 2016. Before that I was student i dropped from college because i got job offer from present company based on my back home experience and i started working full time in this company from march 2015 on study permit( that going to be expired in dec 2015), they applied LMIA on april and got approved in may, i applied work permit at border and they issued closed permit from july 1 2015 to july 1 2016. My question is can i apply EE stating the i have 1 year experience, because i worked from march to july on study permit. i am confused, is this period should be considerded as part of my experince. please help...please

You cannot claim points for experience gained on study permit.Period. Your Canadian experience counts from the day you started working on LMIA but since you said you have foreign experience, see if you qualify for FSW.

you mean my experience counts from may i.e when my lmia approved month ? or else from july when my work permit got approved.

please someone help me, i am totally dumb now as my work permit is expiring in 18 days dont know what to do.. someone guide me..

You can apply through EE using your LMIA if you already IELTS. Irrespective of your experience you should be able to an invitation as you will be awarded 600 points for your LMIA.

As i heard in order to get invitation i need to have 1 year canadian experience, LMIA points won't be added to that until i have 1 year experience. I dont how it works my permit expires in 18 days and i get 1year experience if i work more 18 days. I cannot apply EE after july 1 as my permit expires and at same time my LMIA wont be valid.. anyone please help me what to do now.

You cannot claim your 1 year Canadian experience until 7/1 2016 because the previous experience was done under your study permit.

At this moment, the only thing you can do is keep working after July.

Do you have any experience overseas?

i worked more than 1,560 hours in my present job is it considered as 1 year full time experirnce?

You need to have worked at-least 1 year and averave of 30 hrs/week. which means 1570 is the min number of hours you have to work to qualify
