I recently submitted my package to the CIC and it was received on the 4th of December , 2014. While reading the various posts on the forum I came across one, which says, a joint account is not acceptable proof of funds if the other party on the joint account is not a spouse. Included in my package are several bank statements totaling $15,112.00 Canadian equivalent, however, one of my statements was from a joint account with my mother of $ 4443.00 equivalent Canadian. If the sum from the joint account is not accepted then my new total would be $ 10,669.00. what I want to know, Will that affect my chances of getting a PER? What if I get the bank to take of my mother off the account and resend the new statement with a cover letter explaining my situation, and with details of my previous application so that both applications could be joined? Or should i resend the the entire application?? please help. I need to get through on this current system as I don't think I am set to benefit from the express entry system. HELP NEEDED URGENTLY
