Friends,

I belong from India and New Delhi. I have 2 degree one is Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Delhi University and other one is Professional Degree -Chartered Accountant (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Last year I got my ECA done through WES.

WES report summary say Bachelor's Degree 4 years.

However detail report say's
1. Bachelor of Commerce - Canadian Equivalency - Bachelor's Degree (Four Years)
2. Chartered Accountant - Canadian Equivalency - Bachelor's Degree (Three Years)

I am confused whether :-\ my evaluation represents I have “Two or more certificate, diploma or degrees One must be for a program of three or more years” as per CIC’s Educational Credential Assessment.

or I have "Bachelor's Degree ( 3 or more year program at a University or College)" as per CIC’s Educational Credential Assessment.

Early reply can immensely improve my CRS Score.

Thanks in Advance

Both are bachelor degrees, so I feel that you get points only for it.
Seniors might help you more.

The overall Canadian equivalence summary matters - In your case, it is Bachelors.

It's a close one, but I would go with two or more certificates, etc. I believe that the overall listing at the top is just your highest degree attained, and that the report clearly states that you have two Bachelor's degrees, BOTH of which are of 3 or more years' duration.

The summary is something that matters..in your case it is bachelors

Do you know someone that had as a summary BOTH Bachelor's (3 years) and Bachelor's (4 years)?

Dear all,

I have completed 3 years full time Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Pune University and prior to that I have Bachelor of Science (BSc - Physics) from Mumbai University. My queries are -

1) Does MCA (from Pune University, India) considered to be a Masters in Canada?
It shows "Equivalency in Canada = Master's Degree", when tried getting a degree equivalency through WES tool.

2) Do we need to have first division/class (i.e. >60%) in Master's degree to get it recognized?

Please can anyone advise?

Thanks in advance!

Dear All

I applied for the credential assessment for CPA and Bachelor to WES, both done in the USA but WES just did the assessment on my Bachelor only .They did not mention any thing about my CPA in the report.
Did any body have an idea which assessing body will do the assessment for CPA and what will the equivalency?
