Hello,
I am sorry if this question has been asked before, but researching I could not find an answer.

I am 58 years old and I am about to apply for my Canadian citizenship. I have filed all the application. I am concerned if I am missing any important information which I should include with the application. My questions are as follow:-

1) I am self employed for last 4 years. Do I need to include my tax returns or any other proof of employment with the application.

2) I have traveled twice within last 4 years. Do I need to include photocopy of all the pages of my passport or just the initial bio data page

3) I have lived in 2 Canadian addresses in last 4 years. Do I need to include copies of lease agreements.

I would really appreciate any help that you can provide with this

thanks

1. Being self-employed rings many bells. As such, I strongly urge you to include all tax returns (photocopies) for the relevant period. (I included mine even though I was merely employed.)

2. Just the biodata page.

3. It would be a good idea to include minimal info (not too many copies, that is).

In addition, I would strongly recommend you write a cover letter explaining that you have been self-employed, lived in Canada over the past four years, and reference the included photocopies so the reviewer does not get confused. Also, include additional explanatory notes on the cover letter that you think might substantiate your case. Good luck!

Dont send any additional documents with initial application, regardless you're self-employed, change address or had traveled.
Have ready all documents in case they specifically ask for it.

The other person replied to your question applied in July when was required to send with initial application the work records.

Follow the guideline and document checklist at the end of application form.
