Urgent Advice regarding Ontario PNP

I recently graduated from a Master program in Ontario, and I want to apply for the PNP - Matser Students with No job offer STREAM........I read that one of the eligibility rules is that my status in Canada has to be and I quote from the source " have legal status in Canada (i.e. study permit, work permit, visitor record".

My question is if i apply for a visitor visa, can I still apply for the program because it mentions (Visitor Record)......I can't apply for PGWP because I had it once before my Master, and I can't apply again.....so I want to be a visitor while applying....

If your current study permit is still valid then apply for the PNP with that ASAP.
if its expired or going to expire soon apply for TRV or another study permit(May be a Ph.D?).

I was in the same situation so I applied to change my status from student to visitor. As long as you have legal status, you will be good. Applying for another study permit might not be such a good idea because one the conditions for the Masters stream is you "must not be intending to pursue further academic studies in Ontario."
