My husband is a Canadian citizen and he is applying to sponsor me. On IMM 5532 he needs to include his addresses and work history for the last 5 years. We have the addresses and employer info. He knows the years that he lived and worked in these places. But..he can't remember the months. So when filling in the to and from fields, we are stumped. Can he provide the info he has and then attach a letter explaining that he doesn't know the exact dates? He doesn't want to just make something up. Advice pls.

Can he look at things like past emails, copies of leases, past tax returns/paystubs to determine the months?

It does not need to be exact, but close is good. An explanation letter of what he did is a good idea.

Example: He knows he lived in house x in the summertime of 2015 and moved out just before christmas so he used June/2015 - December/2017

If he used online banking with the same place he might be able to go back and see when he got paid from these jobs? That’s what I did as my bank has records still from 2010

Thanks for your help. He's going to look at his bank account online. The problem that he's having with records of all of this stuff is, his ex has everything. And they are not in contact. She's a bit on the crazy side. She has paperwork for everything. It's a huge inconvenience. We can say for certain he worked this job this year and lived at this address that year. It's the months that is an issue.
