Based upon reading your previous posts it seems you have the resources to contact a lawyer. That would be a much better use of your money instead of wasting forum member's time for free information about free healthcare and getting visas by giving birth in various countries. -1 and a report to the moderator.

If you have investor PR, I assume you can afford paying the hospital bills in the US so why not. You can sponsor the 2nd baby for PR afterwards and if you get citizenship in Canada, your US baby can be dual. However, you will not get any rights in the US for having a US baby.

I guess you will have to make do with 'second best' and rough it out in Canada. I love how so many people like this can get in because they have wads of cash while my wife gets treated like a criminal.

Of course, the baby would be dual citizenship but not Canadian.
They would therefore have to sponsor it to come to Canada...
It does seem that this is another "anchor baby" case. Sigh.....

I do not see it as an anchor baby but as a gift to the baby. If they stay in Canada and apply for citizenship eventually, the baby will also be included on their application and will have dual, US and Canadian or even triple if it also gets citizenship from their home country.

They would have to sponsor it but it's not a big deal because the baby is a US citizen and visa exempt to Canada. All they would have to do is bring it across the border and then file to sponsor. It's not like being stuck in a non-visa exempt country with a baby born there and not being able to go to Canada without trying for a TRV-TRP or leave wife and baby behind while the father goes alone to Canada to sponsor.

I don't really have a problem with baby tourism as long as they pay their hospitals bills and don't leave them to the tax payers to take care of. If the US didn't want babies born there to have citizenship, they'd change the law. So could Canada.

You obviously have a different definition of "gift" to mine. Being lumbered with mandatory Worldwide Tax filing for the rest of your life... :D :D

If they don't want it, they have the option to renounce :)
