Upfront Medical Exam - CEC - In Canada - Please advise

Hi All
I got an ITA and in process of submitting the docs. I am in Canada but i havent got a medical test done in last 5 years.
Question - can we get a medical upfront ? if yes what is the process

or do we need to submit the ITA first and then wait - what will be the process in this case

Also my wife had got medical done 1 year back when she moved to Canada - does she need to get it done again ?

I haven't received any email saying I am exempt from medical test

Biometrics - I had got done when i moved to Canada - so this is not needed again - correct

Find an IRCC-approved physician here and contact their clinic to book an appointment. Tell them it's an upfront medical exam for your PR application. More info here. I did mine before I got the ITA.

Can't comment on your wife's situation, I don't know if the IME is the same for visitors and PR applicants. The clinic you contact for your exam will know (but you should also check online).

If you had your biometrics done in the past 10 years, they should still be valid.
